What is the food like in Croatia?Expect a delicious blend of Mediterranean and Central European flavors. You'll enjoy fresh seafood, local olive oils, handmade pastas, grilled meats, and Dalmatian specialties like octopus salad and black risotto. Meals are relaxed and often taken al fresco, with excellent regional wines.
When is the best time to travel?Spring (May–June) and early fall (September–October) are ideal. These months offer warm, sunny weather and quieter roads—perfect for cycling and swimming without the midsummer crowds.
What type of bike do you recommend? We recommend a lightweight road or hybrid bike, ideally with wider tires for comfort on coastal roads and island terrain. E-bikes are also available for those who want extra support on the hills.
How challenging is the riding? The tour includes a mix of rolling hills, coastal climbs, and flatter stretches, with daily distances ranging from 35–58 km (22–36 mi). Van support is very limited on the islands and the riding is suited to intermediate riders.
Where does the tour start and end?The tour begins in Split and ends in Trogir, both easily accessible by air or train. We provide airport and port transfers to make your arrival and departure seamless.
