DAY 1 – Sevilla to Carmona
After a mid-morning transfer from Sevilla, we arrive in the elegant walled town of Carmona, once a Moorish stronghold and a jewel of Spanish Baroque architecture. Enjoy a relaxed tapas lunch in the sunlit town square or unwind by the pool at our luxurious 16th-century palace hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll fit bikes and ease into the rhythm of the tour. In the evening, we’ll gather over champagne and a festive welcome dinner.

DAY 2 – Carmona to Palma del Río
Cycle through the golden heart of Andalusia along quiet roads flanked by olive groves, wheat fields, and spring wildflowers. The ride brings us to the charming town of Palma del Río, where we’ll stay in a beautifully restored 14th-century monastery once visited by Fray Junípero Serra (the Apostle of California!). Tonight’s dinner is in the grand refectory, where the atmosphere is as rich as the cuisine.

DAY 3 – Palma del Río to Córdoba
Today’s scenic ride follows the Guadalquivir River to the storied city of Córdoba. Along the way, we’ll stop to explore a striking castle rising from fields of wildflowers. In Córdoba, we settle into the historic Jewish Quarter, just steps from the city’s 8th-century Mosque. The evening is free—perfect for sampling local cuisine or catching a live Flamenco performance.

DAY 4 – Córdoba
Trade pedals for walking shoes as we explore the legendary Mezquita (Mosque-Cathedral) on a guided tour. The rest of the day is yours to wander the whitewashed lanes, browse Córdoba’s artisan shops, or relax in a flower-filled courtyard. In the evening, we’ll share a lively tapas feast at one of the city’s most iconic restaurants.

DAY 5 – Córdoba to Baena
We ride southeast through the vineyards of Montilla-Moriles and an endless sea of olive trees. Our destination is Baena, home to one of Spain’s most respected olive oil mills. We’ll tour the historic Nuñez de Prado mill, where oil is still pressed in the traditional way. Tonight’s accommodations are in a converted private mansion just across from the town park.

DAY 6 – Baena to Priego de Córdoba
Today’s route leads us into the Sierra Subbética National Park, a remote and stunningly beautiful region. We’ll ride on a stretch of the Vías Verdes—a converted rail trail—through limestone hills and olive groves. Our hotel is nestled in the countryside and styled like a classic Andalusian village. Relax with a glass of chilled fino sherry by the pool before dinner at the hotel.

DAY 7 – Priego to Granada
Our most epic ride takes us through the untamed landscapes of northern Granada Province, passing white villages like Montefrío with soaring views of the Sierra Nevada in the distance. With nearly traffic-free roads and postcard-perfect vistas, this is often the favorite ride of the tour. We'll shuttle into Granada and check into our elegant city hotel, steps from the Alhambra.

DAY 8 – Granada
