Douro, more than Port

Once again, Portugal is in the New York Times limelight. The verdant slopes of the Douro valley have been yielding grapes for over 2000 years, but until recently this stunning, centennial domain produced nothing but Port.
With remarkable world-class wines, restaurants and accomodation, it doesn't get much better than seeing it all from a bike seat. You really can have it all on our Dipping in the Douro trip. But don't take it from us, the NYT tells a very compeling tale.
